Shawn Paquette to Present at California Oil, Gas and Groundwater 2016 Symposium

SPBanShawn Paquette (Houston) will present at the California Oil, Gas and Groundwater 2016 Symposium at the Bakersfield Marriott Convention Center on November 2, 2016.  Mr. Paquette will discuss tools to measure the possible effects of oil exploration and production activities on Underground Sources of Drinking Water (USDWs) in his presentation titled “Tiered Approach to Evaluation and Management of Produced Water Impacts on Groundwater Resources.”  GSI team members John Connor (Houston), Tony Daus (Newport Beach), and Kenneth Walker (Houston) will also be attending the symposium. 

The symposium, hosted by the Groundwater Resources Association (GRA) of California, provides the latest in the monitoring, regulations, implementation, and legislation related to groundwater protection from oil and gas activities, including: monitoring techniques for compliance, aquifer exemptions, underground injection control, latest scientific findings, and produced water treatment, reuse, and disposal.
