Thomas McHugh and Lila Beckley to Present at AEHS Annual West Coast Conference

Tom and Lila will present a talk “Understanding the role of sewer preferential pathways in vapor intrusion” at the upcoming 27th Annual International Conference on Soil, Water, Energy, and Air in San Diego, CA on March 21, 2017. At some sites, sewers play an important role in the migration of chlorinated solvent vapors from the subsurface source into buildings. This talk will results from a DoD-funded research project that is focused on better understanding the types of sites where sewers are important and developing accurate and cost-effective test procedures.
