GSI Environmental Presenting at the 13th Annual CASQA Conference


GSI Environmental Inc. staff will be presenting two workshop presentations and two technical presentations at the 13th Annual California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) Conference in Sacramento, California.  CASQA is the largest professional association dedicated to stormwater quality issues and the conference will feature training workshops, technical sessions, and poster presentations on wide-ranging stormwater and water management topics with a focus around the conference theme, Building Bridges For Water.  The program brochure of the conference can be downloaded here.

  • Mehran  Ebrahimi, P.E., QISP ToR; and
  • Chris (Meng-Horng) Hsu, D.Env., P.E., QISP
On Monday, September 25, 2017 during the Training Workshop:
  • Matt Lentz will be moderating and presenting on several topics during the Industrial Stormwater Training Workshop, including providing an overview of the Exceedance Response Action (ERA) Process in California’s Industrial General Permit.
  • Mehran Ebrahimi will be presenting Advanced Storm Water Treatment: An Overview.  Mehran’s presentation will be followed by a Storm Water Treatment System Panel with various treatment vendors to review Lessons Learned and Keys to Success.
On Tuesday, September 26, 2017 during the Technical Presentations:
  • Chris Hsu will be presenting Potential Impacts of TMDLs on Industrial Dischargers: From Regulatory Background to Strategic Planning for Compliance.

    On Wednesday, September 27, 2017 during the Technical Presentations:
  • Tim Simpson will be presenting Infiltration at Industrial Sites Overcoming Institutional Barriers.
