Jim McDade Promoted to Principal Role with GSI

GSI Environmental is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim McDade to the position of Principal. This promotion is in recognition of the significant contributions Jim has made to strengthen and grow GSI’s core services, develop and maintain strong client relationships, recruit and mentor our staff, and expand GSI’s technical capabilities.

Mr. McDade’s practice areas include environmental permitting, particularly RCRA hazardous waste permit and compliance plan modifications and renewals. He has extensive experience conducting site investigations and remediation design and implementation under a variety of state and federal regulatory programs. He has provided expert support for litigation projects involving various environmental matters, including chemical impacts to soil and groundwater, chemical fate and transport, and remediation costs. He has authored or co-authored numerous technical publications on topics including remediation costs, matrix diffusion, natural attenuation of chlorinated solvents, bioaugmentation, and MTBE. Jim earned a B.S. degree in Bioenvironmental Science from Texas A&M University in 1998, and his M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Rice University in 2002.
