Clayton S. Sorensen, P.G.

Mr. Sorensen is a geologist with GSI Environmental Inc. He received an M.S. degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Idaho and a B.S. degree in Earth Sciences, with a concentration in Environmental Geology, from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Since joining GSI in 2016, his project experience has included site investigation and risk assessment of chemically-impacted properties, storm water and surface water monitoring, and litigation support for various environmental matters in California, Illinois, and Ecuador. Before joining GSI, Mr. Sorensen served as a hydrologic technician in the Bay Area of Northern California, working on various surface water and storm water flow monitoring projects.  His graduate research investigated climate effects on topography and erosion processes through numerical modeling of landscape in the Andes of South America.
